Brown Bear Comes Home

Reed was thrilled to bring Brown Bear home from Chapel Hill.  He is supposed to go on our family adventures over the weekend, and we document the fun in his adventure book.  First bit of fun was our "homework" time while Reed works on his numbers.

Homework

Ryland had a small "homework" assignment for his preschool.  He colored and glittered a card stock pumpkin and then cut it out.  I made an extra copy for Reed, so we could all work together.  It was fun to craft and talk about fall and Halloween.  The boys are getting so darn big.

Brown Bear

Ryland's class has a traveling visitor that came home with him.  Every weekend Brown Bear goes home with a different kid, and the parents get to document their adventures in a journal for the class to read.  Ryland was beyond excited to bring Brown Bear home!

As soon as we got home, Ryland got Brown Bear out of his backpack to meet Reed.  Needless to say, Reed wasn't sure of this new visitor and brother's best buddie.  I think he felt a little left out.

Brown Bear even slept with Ryland.

Homework

Ryland had his first homework assignment.  We decorated a "me mat" with family pictures, stickers, and markers.  It will be laminated and used as a snack place mat in his classroom.  I cut the pictures, and he decorated all around them.  He was so proud and excited to show off his finished piece.

Reed was our supervisor.  He pointed and guided us through the project.  He picked out a few pictures to take to his class as well.  I can't wait to see what they make with his selections.
