Book character day

The boys dressed up as their favorite book characters today for school. Since the boys are really into books about tractors, planes, trains, and cars, they were excited to dress up.

Ryland took his favorite book about construction. We have read this book about a thousand times, and I think John Chris and I could recite it from memory. Ryland was thrilled to wear boots, vest, tool belt, and hard hat. He was such an adorable construction worker.
Reed took a favorite book of both of theirs about all kinds of transportation. He dressed in precious striped overalls with a red bandanna. I put a matching train conductor's hat on him, but he was uninterested. Even without the hat, he looked like a very handsome conductor.
