I have fully embraced the joys of having a little girl. I have become obsessed with Matilda Jane clothes, and I love all the fun accessories, including bows! I purchased a few new headband bows and lots of supplies to make several to match a few special outfits. I had Ridley model a few, and I love this expression. It is obvious that she loves it!

Safety Squad
We were all enjoying the pool when the kids disappeared inside for a little while. When they returned, they were all decked out in safety officer gear. I guess they will keep the adults in line, since we have SWAT and a firefighter on site.

Movie time
We all headed to Harkins to enjoy one of out favorite movies, Despicable Me 2. Ridley was absolutely into the experience, and she really enjoyed her first movie.
When we came out of the movie, we were excited to see Minions. What a great surprise! We didn't get an autograph, but we did get a quick picture.

Slip'n Slide
How do you celebrate the end of a great baseball camp? A gigantic slip'n slide on the baseball field! I loved seeing all the little guys smiling and having fun. Baseball camp was a huge success!

Baseball Camp
The official Dragon sports are in full swing for Ryland. He was able to attend Dragon baseball camp at the high school and was coached by the big boys' coach! Awesome! I have to admit that it was a little nerve racking the first day at drop off. I left my little guy at the impressive indoor practice facility with a whole bunch of silly 5 year olds. It was obvious that they were not feeling the pressure, as they were the only age group actually not sitting on their line. Silly, sweet boys.
As we walked back to the truck after drop off, I snapped this quick picture of my smaller Dragon all decked out in his baseball gear. It won't be long before he gets his turn, and he is ready!

Family
We had family visit this weekend, and the kiddos had a great time. Nana really wanted a few pictures of her grandchildren, but someone wouldn't participate. Reed, Ryland, and Ridley know what happens when the camera comes out, and they immediately start posing.
Ally is getting a little closer to being in a picture, and I love the expression on Ridley's face.
Here again, we were only able to get three of the four, but we did catch Ally smiling.

5 months
Ridley is 5 months old, and she continues to be a joy. She is almost sitting up on her own, and does well for a few minutes before she falls to one side. She loves to be in the middle of the action and prefers for the house to be a little noisy for her to enjoy a nice nap. One of her favorite things to do is float in the pool. She loves the water enjoys kicking and splashing.

Father's Day Art
Reed made this cute little masterpiece for Father's Day. I always love reading the answers to the questions. Cracks me up!
Father's Day at Fossil Rim
We spent the day in Glen Rose to celebrate Father's Day, and it was so much fun. We drove down about mid morning and had lunch at a local bar-b-que restaurant. The boys were intrigued by the rustic decor and the picnic table set up. We then headed to Fossil Rim about 3 miles away.
We all were amazed at our few hours driving through Fossil Rim. It is about 1400 acres of wildlife refuge just a few miles southwest of Ft. Worth. There are several different species to see and learn about. We drove the meandering road through while we fed the amazing animals, all the while reading our brochure to learn more about them. By the end of the trip, animals were eating out of our hands and even a giraffe was fed through the sunroof.
Everyone LOVED today! Even Miss Ridley who missed all the awesome animals while she napped in the floorboard of the truck. Happy Father's Day to the best dad ever. John Chris, we love you so much and appreciate the wonderful life with you.

Silly camo
The boys were playing upstairs in the game room this morning. I carried some laundry up to their rooms, and I peaked in to see what they were doing. Those silly boys had dressed up their favorite stuffed animals in their camo clothes. They lined all the animals up on cushions and the toy tractor to pose for a picture. I love to see them play together and use their imaginations.

Full bed
I have the best start to my days. Every morning my little ones come for cuddle time in my bed. Even if I am out of bed, they will climb in and tell me to come cuddle. My bed seems to be getting smaller as they are getting bigger. I love this previous time!
Sweet Potatoes
Ridley has started eating foods now, and until today she hasn't really been interested. I introduced sweet potatoes, and the girl went nuts. I could not get it to her mouth fast enough. She must get this love from her daddy, because I am not a fan.

Dentist
Time for our cleaning, and today was Reed's first time to see the dentist. I had been dreading this appointment for a few weeks, because I know how quickly things can get out of hand with a certain strong willed little guy. Ryland and I had our appointments first, so Reed could watch. He even helped out with Mr. Thirsty.
When it was Reed's turn, he refused to sit in the chair alone. Ryland offered to sit with him for support. Reed warmed up to our hygienist quickly and was happy to pick out a new toothbrush and toy after his cleaning. Success! Both boys want to know when they can come back to the dentist.

It's hard to be me!
After hanging out in the hot tub, Ridley was completely worn out. She loves to float around and watch her brothers swim and jump in the pool. I didn't even have her dried off, and she was fast asleep.
