Cinco De Mayo

Reed and Ridley traveled with me to Austin for work this week.  I only had two partial days of meetings, and I was looking forward to a little adventure with them.  I had a Happy Hour scheduled for Cinco De Mayo, and I was asked to please bring them by.  My co-workers were so excited to meet them, and they raved about how adorable they are.  :)

I was very thankful when they pulled out a pinata.  They had gone out of their way to plan something fun for my littles to do while visiting.  The pinata was filled with chocolate and hard candy that my kiddos loved.  It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture.

After lots of candy, tv, and laughing, my little crew crashed.  I love watching them cuddle together.  They are so precious.

Barton Creek Easter Party

We loved the day full of Easter party fun.  This was a delightful surprise of sweet treats and perfectly planned hospitality from the awesome staff.  The children could not have been happier!  They all look awesome in their amazing face paint.  The artist was top notch!

Egg hunt time for these two.  Their age group was all about speed.

Ridley's group was more laid back and relaxing.

They racked up on goody filled eggs.

The balloon artist was like nothing I had ever seen before.  The cobras and butterfly were a big hit.

We had a fantastic Easter weekend in Austin.  It was just perfect, and we would love to make this a holiday tradition.

Nature Trail

We spent a few days in Austin at the Barton Creek Resort.  I had heard wonderful things about the resort and how perfect it is for families. We explored the outdoors and went for a hike.  It was a beautiful day with my precious family.

Sweet moment

John Chris and I had a Christmas party in Austin, and we thought it would be fun to spend a little time with my Dad since we would be so close.  The Allison gang crashed at his house a few nights, and I caught this sweet brother moment as I was getting ready to call it a night.  Every time I see them be so sweet and kind to one another, I am turned to mush.

Work with a view

I spent a few days working in Austin, and I had meetings at the River Place Country Club.  Our conference room had a great view of the hills and golf course, that was a bit distracting when the details got draining.
