Another Great Day

We brought Ridley a little pool to keep cool in under the umbrella.  It was perfect for her and myself or her and two brothers.
I love all the smiles.
We stopped in at the post office to mail a few postcards to our friends and family back home in the states.
Ryland was the photographer during our grocery stop.  Who needs heads?
Where is Reed?  He is camouflaged and very happy.
Ridley sat in a highchair for the first time tonight at Oliver's.  We had their amazing stingray and had a beautiful view of the ocean below.

New seat at the table

Reed is thrilled to be out of his highchair and at the table. His highchair seemed to always be covered in food, and it is one of the most difficult things to clean. So, I picked up a booster seat with a removable tray. From the second I buckled him in, he was happy as could be. We also liked him sitting at the table with us. I immediately realized how big he is getting and how big it made him feel.

Breakfast

Reed is serious about eating food. He was happy to sit in his highchair and put on a bib, but when he didn't see anything waiting on his tray, he gave me this very serious look. I knew I better quickly prepare his rice cereal or else.

Air pump

John Chris and I started cleaning out the garage over the weekend and found this air pump. Ryland was intrigued right away, and now he is refusing to put it down. He likes to push it and feel the air blow out in his face. It was cute at first, but now I want to hide it away. Not to be mean, but he doesn't need at pump when he is trying to eat dinner. Can you see the possessive look on his face?

Highchair

Since Ryland is eating some solid foods now, we thought it would be a great time for him to test his highchair. John Chris and I buckled him in, wrapped him in a burp cloth, and fastened on a bib. We were ready to eat. He was so good and seemed to really like sitting up like a big boy. We are going to start putting him at the table with us when we eat dinner. Before long he will be sitting in one of the chairs.
Yum, this rice cereal in apple juice is delicious!
