Tonight after dinner and bath time, I look over to the family room to see all three of my children sitting on the sofa. Reed was buried in his Nabi and Ryland and Ridley were looking at a book. I could hear Ryland reading to his sister and explaining the story. I love when they are sweet to one another.

New Year's Eve
A trio of adorable boys in pajamas and capes. Two precious little girls not wanting to go to sleep. It is funny how our "party" has changed, and I wouldn't change it for anything!

Ladies Night
I had a fantastic night out with a wonderful group of ladies. This was the first night out for the new MOPS steering team, and we had a blast. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset on the outdoor patio at Glass Cactus, and we all had a blast laughing and chatting. I am so excited for the upcoming year!

8PM to 6:30AM
Reed must have been completely worn out after an afternoon of fun yesterday. He went down at 8 and didn't wake up until 6:30! WOW! Of course I was up all night with his brother, but I couldn't believe my little man slept so long. It is one more sign of him growing up, and it makes me sad. Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled that he is sleeping. It just seems like the "baby" days are going quickly.

9 hours of sleep!
What? 9 hours of sleep? Is it a new sleep pattern? Of course I still woke up multiple times throughout the night, but it wasn't due to Reed waking. I would wake up and check to make sure he was still breathing, and he was peacefully sleeping. I hope this continues. Awesome!

Chuck E Cheese's
John Chris and I wanted to get out of the house and do something fun with Ryland tonight. We thought Chuck E Cheese's would be perfect, and we just knew Ryland would have a blast. I saw this picture sketch machine, and I was insistent that we get a picture of the three of us. Needless to say, Ryland wasn't happy about it. It only took about 15 seconds to pose, and he wasn't going to have it. I love that our cherished take home memento shows him having a fit. Priceless.Saturday, July 25, 2009
