White

After way too much consideration, thought, and paint samples, my walls are white.  I am so excited to see the finished product.  It is already so very bright and cheerful! 

Meet the Teacher

Ryland is ready to start the new school year.  We had Meet the Teacher this morning, and he is very happy.  His buddies, Grant and Graham, are in his class, and he can't wait to hang out with them.

Ryland's first grade teacher is Mrs. Amy Evans.  She also happens to be our new neighbor, just a few doors down the street.  She seems like a perfect fit for his personality, and he is crushing on her already.

Admiring

I caught this adorable view this evening of the littles and John Chris checking on the pool.  The filling started today, and it was as if they were watching paint dry.  They can't wait to swim, and John Chris could only admire the beautiful new pool.  It is going to be a great summer of swimming fun!

It's a GIRL!

It is confirmed.  It is a baby girl!  I had my big ultrasound appointment today at my doctor's office, and it is now official.  I still can't wrap my head around the news.  I think this is shock.

 

Santa was here

Santa stopped to leave the boys lots of fun toys!

 

Ryland and Reed were beyond excited to see all the toys, and they couldn't believe all the Imaginext men!

 

Reed loves his new Elmo doll and loves to push him around in the shopping cart.

 

Ryland found some Operation band-aids in his stocking which are perfect for his hurt thumb.  He wanted one right then.

 

Santa also left some fancy twist up crayons with huge coloring books.  I showed Ryland and Reed how they worked, and we colored for all of 5 minutes before returning to the toys.
