I saw a specialist about my ear. He said the eardrum is completely gone, so he can not put a patch on it. I am directed to stay on antibiotics, and he added a new stronger decongestant to keep the fluid from building up and putting pressure on the area that is trying to heal. He said to continue to take them both, and he expects the hearing to return in a few weeks.
