Since family was in town for Reed's birthday, we went ahead and celebrated Ryland's birthday a little early. Ryland wants a construction party, so I pulled out a few construction decorations to surprise him. He loved the hard hat and blinking light. He was very intense when it was time to blow out the candles. It seemed like he was really thinking about a good wish.
