Princess Ballet Camp

It was finally Ridley's turn for summer camp.  She had a blast at Princess Ballet Camp dressed as Elsa from Frozen.  She is all girl and loved every minute.

Camp

The whole family had a blast at the hunting ranch this weekend.  We met the Nesters at the camp, so the children had a blast.  They have so much fun being in the "wilderness".

This is what Beanie Boos do at the ranch.  They zip line!  I love their imaginations!

Mini Huddler Skills Showcase

Ryland has really enjoyed the Mini Huddle camp.  He has learned some technical football skills, and he shows interest in playing.  In fact, we noticed how engaged and competitive Ryland has become. The final day was a skills showcase, and Ryland really shined.  He was picked to be the last kiddo to run the drill.  He nailed it!  He knew all the parts and did a fantastic job.

Ryland likes to be in the action, and Reed is running to occupy his time.  He will be so happy when he is 4.  He will finally be able to participate in the camps.

Mini Huddler

Ryland is learning the fundamentals of football at Mini Huddler.  He looks forward to going twice a week, and he has met some new buddies.  He is very engaged and always the first one to lineup or raise his hand to answer a question.  We noticed that he has gotten more and more competitive, which is a nice surprise.

Mini Kickers Ends

It is hard to believe this is the same boy who cried the first day of camp.  Only 3 short weeks later, Ryland was running back and forth across the field like a pro.  For the final day of camp, the kids played a mock game.  Ryland scored three goals, needless to say, two were in the opposing team's goal.  He was so excited!

Ryland was happy to receive a trophy and a certificate at the end of camp. A quick photo with his coaches, and he was off running the field again.

Mini Kickers

Ryland has expressed interest in soccer over the last few months, so we thought a mini camp would be the perfect way to try it out.  He was once again really excited about the uniform and the possibility of getting a trophy.
All the excitement came to a halt, when the group was warming up.  They listened to the rules and stretched.  It was then time for 10 jumping jacks.  Ryland jumped out for one and then realized he didn't know how to do a jumping jack.  I saw the devastation all over his face.  He immediately started crying and ran over to me.  We had a little chat, and he decided to get back in there.
The rest of the afternoon was awesome.  He loved kicking the ball around, making new friends, and learning a new sport.  The coaches told them all to go home and practice what they covered.  We also need to practice our jumping jacks!
