My Helpers

In preparation for a baby shower this weekend, I needed to make a diaper cake.  The boys were very curious about this craft, and they wanted to help.  After rolling the entire case of tiny diapers, we started bundling the tiers.  I love that my camouflaged boys love to help their mommy!

Sneak Peek

The shower glass is in!  We have been waiting for about two weeks for the custom, frameless shower glass, and it is beautiful!  We are so pleased with the massive shower, and I can't wait to take a shower.  More pictures of the finished master bathroom to come.

Sip'n See

I co-hosted a Sip'n See in honor of the sweet new girls in our playgroup. I thought it was pretty humorous that they spent the morning sleeping in their carriers on the kitchen counter. Jewel and Parker were oblivious that the party was for them.
It was nice to see all the pink in the house for a change. The pink cake was absolutely delicious! We had a great time eating and visiting while the kids played. It was really nice to kick back and enjoy each other's company without distractions.

Baby shower for Aunt Kristi

While in Texarkana, we had a baby shower for Aunt Kristi. It was so fun to see all the pink girl things. Nana, Grandmother Sue, Grandmother Bobby, me, and Reed posed for a 4 generation picture.

Aunt Kristi opened her gifts while I jotted down notes for her thank yous. See looks cute with her little belly.

Grandmother Sue, Grandmother Bobby, and Kristi's mom, Jeanette, watched the spoiling continue. My little niece will be decked out with tone of cute things.

Chanda's baby shower

Baby Roscoe will be arriving soon, so it was time to shower Chanda.

Texas baby shower

What a great side shot! I was looking for a pen, and my mom snapped this picture. It is one of the few side shots I have while pregnant. My belly is so huge.

The cake was from Society Bakery in Dallas. It was delicious red velvet! Thanks to Valerie for the cake. Mmmmmmm. The punch was Chanda's recipe, and it was the best.

I don't know what we were grinning about, but it must have been funny. I am opening gifts, and Chanda is being the best hostess making notes. I had a great group of people at this shower. I felt so very blessed to have such great neighbors and friends.

Work baby shower

John Chris's office gave us an awesome baby shower. We were very touched that they put together a great potluck lunch and decorated the conference room for a baby boy. They hung balloons and had confetti, cake, and presents. We were blown away by their generosity and thoughtfulness. I was able to meet John Chris's boss and co-workers. They are a great group of people, and I look forward to getting to know them better.
