Thanksgiving in Bossier

Our next visit was in Bossier with Lizee & Pops.  We stayed with Aunt Emily & Uncle Jeffery, so we were able to visit and play with Ellison.  The children loved playing games with Lizee while Pops rests.

Fun with Lizzie & Pops

The fun with Lizzie and Pops continues with a bowling celebration for Pops' birthday.  Everyone had fun laughing and hanging out at Main Event.  All three of the kiddos enjoy bowling, and the automatic bumpers help keep them happy. 

After a morning full of activity, Lizzie and the boys worked on the foam trains she brought.  They had a blast building and embellishing them. 

Fun with Lizee & Pops

Ryland and Reed had so much fun in Ruston while staying with Lizee and Pops.  They enjoyed riding the new mule and picking vegetables in the garden.

 

They gathered eggs and threw out scratch for the chickens.

 

Reed loves spaghetti!  He couldn't get enough in his mouth.

 

The big entertainment highlight was the huge dirt pile.  Both boys are still talking about where we can put a dirt pile at our house.

I love this picture.  I know they had a great time, and I heard they spent about 10 hours playing in this dirt pile.  Simple joy!

Hot tub fun

Lizzie and Pops came to visit for the long holiday weekend.  We relaxed and played in the pool for hours.  Ryland and Reed both love the hot tub.  Even though the heat isn't on and the water is the same temperature at the pool, the bubbles make it so much fun!

Pool time

Reed is one cool dude, and he likes to wear his shades. He spent some quality time with Lizzie while the rest of us played in the pool.


Ryland loves to jump in the pool. His new favorite spot for jumping is the edge of the hot tub.

Now it is time to hang out with Pops. Reed enjoys relaxing and eating, obviously.

Watch out! There is a big gator in the pool. Good thing Ryland was there to wrangle him.

We pushed Ryland and his gator back and forth across the pool.
