Look who is looking pretty today in her new dress! Ridley is modeling an adorable racerback giraffe dress from Mud Pie. She, of course, was happy and full of smiles while I dressed her up. Having a girl is so much fun!

Smarty Pants
I noticed several greasy hand prints all over the rear door glass. I asked Reed if those were his hands, and he grinned from ear to ear while shaking his head in agreement. I started telling him that we will clean them up when we got home and take better care of our things. I then caught him putting his feet on the glass. I asked what he was doing, and he informed me that it wasn't a problem because we were already going to clean it. And then he grinned again! This one is too smart!
Chapel Hill Graduation
Ryland is moving on to Kindergarten in the Fall. He had his Chapel Hill Pre-K graduation this morning and a few nice surprises for the audience. Each student was called out on the stage individually. The teacher introduced the student and told the audience a few things about each kid. Ryland loves to play Legos and with his brother, Reed. His favorite food is mac'n cheese and he wants to be a policeman when he grows up.
The Pre-K classes did a little singing too.
My baby is growing up so fast, and he is really excited about going to a big boy school. I am a little sad for him to say good-bye to Chapel Hill. He has come so far socially and academically in the past two years. He has felt loved, secure, and challenged to learn more. We could not have asked for better teachers and will miss them dearly.

Our sweet baby girl is getting big! She is exceeding all the milestones, and she is gaining weight and inches. She weighed in at 14 lbs 14 ounces - 78%, 25.5 inches - 90%, and 16.5 inches - 77%. Time is flying, and she is such a delight.

4 months
Ridley is already 4 months, and it seems like the time is flying by way too fast. She is very happy and loves to laugh. She has started chewing on her hands a good bit and drooling, so we are expecting a tooth pretty soon. She still is not a fan of tummy time, but she is holding her head up and rolling from her belly to her back. She usually spits up every time she is on her stomach, so we try to plan accordingly. She is a delight to have in our lives, and we love watching her grow and learn.

Camping Out
Ryland & Reed wanted to camp out in their tent, and their awesome dad agreed. They set up everything in the backyard and then caught some zzzzs. John Chris, on the other hand, realized how hard the ground is and how an aching body feels the next day.
Making memories with the boys!

Tummy Time Gang
Ridley isn't a big fan of tummy time, just like her brothers. This afternoon, she had a bit of support, and she still wasn't interested. The boys were all into it though. Reed was down on his tummy, and Ryland was telling us all about the numbers on the caterpillar's belly. This is very typical of daily activities. I guess the boys are re-living their infancy, and it is very amusing.

Stars Academy Graduation
It is hard to believe that this day has arrived. I remember it like it was yesterday. The first day I was leaving my 6 month old baby at Stars Academy. I was confident in my choice of schools and felt so comfortable with his teacher, Ms. Nan. I couldn't help but have those new mom jitters, but I was quickly put at ease. It is hard to express the blessing of finding someone outside of your family that you trust in caring for your precious baby.

Precious Napper
Sometimes, I am completely overcome with emotions. I am so in love with my precious baby girl. I was rocking her before her afternoon nap, and I just couldn't take my eyes off of her. She is perfect.

Reed's Blastball Season Ends
Today was Reed's last day of blastball. He has loved every Saturday, and it has been awesome to watch his excitement. He loves the wearing the uniform, talking about baseball, practicing baseball, and anything else baseball related. John Chris has done a great job at coaching this team of misfits, and they all have had a blast this season. Reed was thrilled to get his very own trophy.

Mother's Tea
CHCS is wonderful! They always go above and beyond for special events and holidays. Ryland's class had a sweet Mother's Tea to celebrate moms. Of course tea parties require hats, so Ryland's class made beautiful tie dye hats. I love it!
The boys made several treats for me, but I will have to wait until Mother's Day to open them. I can hardly wait to open my treats, and I am sure to drop a few tears.

Ryland's Tball Season Ends
Ryland's Tball season is over, and the team had to get together for a little pizza and trophies. Ryland loved his coaches, and he is already looking forward to next year. He loves baseball.

Helper
Reed loves to help take care of Ridley. He wanted to hold her this afternoon and watch his favorite show, Paw Patrol. Ridley refused to sit in his lap and wanted to lay across his legs, and he thought this was hilarious. I think she wanted to look at him, because she wouldn't take her eyes off of him. I love to watch them build a relationship.
