Ouch!

We were all in the backyard relaxing on a beautiful Friday afternoon, when we heard the hit.  Ryland hit the baseball and it smacked Reed right in the face.  He started screaming, and his eye started to swell immediately.  We made him comfortable on the sofa and applied ice.   We kept a close eye on him throughout the evening.  

Poor boy!  I can only imagine how bad it hurts.

Baseball

Ryland is enjoying another season of baseball, but he has decided he really just wants to hit.  He has very little to no interest in fielding the ball.  He is a pretty good hit and makes it to second base on most turns at bat. 

T Ball Starts

It is that time of year, and the boys have been anxiously waiting to get their ball seasons going.  Ryland started T ball this morning with practice at the ball park.  He was so excited for practice, and he had to wear his full baseball uniform from last year.  He had a blast, and a few great hits.
