Golf Par T

Ryland's buddy, Brady, celebrated his fourth birthday with a golf theme.  The party goers were treated to golf cart rides around the neighborhood.  It was warm, sunny and just perfect to enjoy the outdoors.

Brady's mom always does an amazing job at decorating and planning parties.  She had several golf games set up around the yard.  One fun game was shooting golf balls off the tees with water guns.  Then the water guns were perfect to chase each other around soaking one another.

The grassy cupcakes were delicious and turned tongues very green. Of course Ryland licked all the icing off, but I was so shocked that he wouldn't even try the Jell-O.  Crazy kid!

Golf Clubs

The boys head off to play a little golf in the yard.

Reed was thrilled to play with Ryland, even if most of the time he was just the caddie.

Ryland threw the clubs on his trike and took off.

I never knew golfing was such a tiring sport, but they both enjoyed playing with the clubs for hours.

Fun afternoon

Cooper loves Ryland, and I thought this little moment was too cute. Cooper is napping outside Ryland's room while Ryland takes a nap. Cooper is always the first one to hear the smallest little noise out of Ryland. They love to play together.
Why on Earth does Ryland sleep crammed down at one end turned sideways? Who knows?

Oh no! Someone woke up on the wrong side of the crib.

After Ryland actually woke up, he was in a great mood. He loves to play with the dish towels, and he slings them over his shoulder and helps me clean up any spills.
I am sure this is the only picture I will ever have of Ryland "behind bars". A little note about the plastic golf club he has in his hand - RUN! He doesn't understand how to hit a ball yet, so he smacks everything else in reach.
Back to the towel for a little peek-a-boo before bath time.

The Colonial

We went to the Colonial in Ft. Worth with Brad and Chanda. It was pretty darn hot outside until we found a shady spot on the 13th hole. We had a great time watching the caddie races and the tournament.
Thanks for the tickets, Morgan.
