Snow Day

The weather forecasts have been all over the place.  One minute we are going to get snow, and the next minute we will miss it.  We ended up being right on the line of the front, so we enjoyed a nice dry dusting of beautiful snow.  It barely covered the coping around the pool and lightly covered the flower beds.  It was so peaceful watching it fall.

Ridley enjoyed the snow fall while waiting on her brothers to get home.  She sat in her chair patiently waiting and playing on her tablet.

Friday night fun called for a family room pallet and a movie.  My sweet babies are getting so big.  We had a fantastic Friday.

Shocked

A blood pressure check with three young children in tow - this could have gone really bad.  I was shocked to see the three of them reading in the waiting room and behaving.  It was a great visit, and I was so proud.

Mother's Day

I love all the handmade gifts from my darling children.  They sure know how to make me feel special.  Being a mommy to my three precious babies is the best!

Barton Creek Easter Party

We loved the day full of Easter party fun.  This was a delightful surprise of sweet treats and perfectly planned hospitality from the awesome staff.  The children could not have been happier!  They all look awesome in their amazing face paint.  The artist was top notch!

Egg hunt time for these two.  Their age group was all about speed.

Ridley's group was more laid back and relaxing.

They racked up on goody filled eggs.

The balloon artist was like nothing I had ever seen before.  The cobras and butterfly were a big hit.

We had a fantastic Easter weekend in Austin.  It was just perfect, and we would love to make this a holiday tradition.

Reading

Tonight after dinner and bath time, I look over to the family room to see all three of my children sitting on the sofa.  Reed was buried in his Nabi and Ryland and Ridley were looking at a book.  I could hear Ryland reading to his sister and explaining the story.  I love when they are sweet to one another.

Pictures with Santa

Ryland, Reed, and Ridley put on their cute Christmas pajamas to take a few precious pictures with Santa.  I was hoping that Ridley would like Santa this year, but as the photos demonstrate, she isn't a fan.

Foot Massages

This is too much.  Our children are spoiled rotten, and it is so cute.  Everyone loves a great foot massage.

Happy Father's Day

The best shot of all the kiddos with their awesome Daddy, and 3 of the 5 looking at the camera isn't bad.  We love you!

January 1st

Happy 2015!  I love a new year!  I always have this great idea that I am going to have a fresh start, and I am going to start doing things or doing things differently.  I am a sucker for resolutions.

This morning we woke to hang out with our slumber party guests, the Brashears.  The children were playing and being silly, when I noticed that Ryland was playing with Emory.  She had started to fuss a little while playing on the quilt, so he went over to entertain her.  He was sitting behind her and had propped her up.  She must have loved it, because she was all smiles.  I ran to grab my phone for a quick picture, and this is what I got.  Reed photo bombed it!

After a little convincing, Reed moved out of the picture, and I was able to focus on Ryland and Emory.  I just love this, because he is being so gentle and sweet.  He is such a caring, compassionate little boy who is aware of his surroundings.  It was sweet that he wanted to comfort her.  Emory's smile is priceless.  She was enjoying his company.  Such sweethearts!
