Copycat

Ridley loves her older brothers, and she tries to do everything they do.  Good and bad.  This morning Ryland pulled his hood over his head, because he wasn't quite awake or in a good mood.  It was his way of telling us to leave him alone.  Ridley thought that this was funny, so she grabbed her blanket and made a hood.  When Ryland saw this, he burst out laughing.  The morning mood was quickly changed.  Thanks to the copycat!

Mornings with Mom

Ryland's school hosted a muffin breakfast early this morning to celebrate moms.  John Chris had to go to work, so I was lucky enough to enjoy the morning with all three of my little ones. It was pretty early, so I don't think we were all awake yet.

After a bit of food and the sunrise, everyone was back to their normal chipper selves.

Cuddling

There is nothing better than lots of love and cuddling on a weekend morning.  I love these sweet early moments, and Daddy was able to soak it up this morning.  Be still my heart!

Full bed

I have the best start to my days.  Every morning my little ones come for cuddle time in my bed.  Even if I am out of bed, they will climb in and tell me to come cuddle.  My bed seems to be getting smaller as they are getting bigger.  I love this previous time!

Mornings

I have never been a morning person, but as I have gotten a little older, I really enjoy 7:00AM.  My mornings start with sweet baby noises from Ridley.  I go get her from her bed, and she comes to my room for her breakfast.  We have some cuddle time before Reed comes stomping down the stairs.  He usually climbs in my bed with his Ziggy and Nonnie, and he is ready to watch Paw Patrol.  He gets cuddled in and covered up, and he then realizes he has to go potty.  He jumps up and races to the bathroom and just barely makes it, every morning.  About 15 minutes later, Ryland quietly shuffles in the room with his Itsy and blanket.
We talk about the day and what we have planned.  We giggle, give hugs and kisses, and talk about what the weather is going to be for the day.  I just absolutely love this precious time with my babies and their babies.

Good mood morning

One of the best places to play at our house right now is behind the Christmas tree. This morning Ryland was in a silly mood, and we found him covered up playing under the tree.

The boys love to watch a little TV in the mornings. They just can't pass up Spongebob. I love how Ryland has covered up Cooper.

Sweet mornings

I have never been a morning person, and I still don't think I really am. I do love the mornings these days. I just love picking Ryland up out of bed and seeing how excited he is to see me. It just melts my heart.
Every morning when we hear Ryland wake up Cooper and I go upstairs to pick up little Mr. Sunshine. He giggles and stretches, and it is just so darn adorable. He always hands me Itsy and his blanket. I pick him up for a morning hug and kiss, and he throws Itsy back in bed. We head down for breakfast and some silly time. I love it, almost to fault, because we usually play too long and have to hurry to get ready to get out of the house. Those 30-45 minutes of fun quickly turn into complete craziness. Ahh, I do love the mornings.
